Set the Therma Pro to auto-schedule and live normally. It maps when you wake, leave, return, and sleep.

Week two: verify the energy history

Check the Energy History tab. You will see the house heating an empty room at 14:00. Confirm the away temperature you are comfortable with.

Keep it boring

The savings come from consistency, not cleverness. 16 C when away, 20 C when home, 17 C at night. Independent studies put the saving at 10-12% of heating.
